Studio Set up
With the studio set up, we played around with how different lighting will affect the end result of a picture. As the angle of light affects the parts of the picture that will become more clear and prominent.
In the first picture to the left, the lighting is kept as far away from the camera as possible, the light facing the other way, and so less light reaches the camera lens making the picture appear dark, the picture itself blending into its shadows. The next picture has light kept on the left of the camera, still quite far back but this time the light is facing the model. The last picture, however, has one of the best results in terms of lighting. The light was kept at midway to the right of the camera. It was much closer but not too close; enough to get a clear image.
Coloured Light Experiments
Personally, at first, I didn't really like this experiment, it seemed like another classic science practical on light but that was all until I discovered to use different camera settings to get different effects. We used colored filter paper that allowed colored light to let through, although the experiment is very simple, it is very intriguing and amazing. Especially since not only do you see it from your eyes, you get to capture these moments too!

Light Drawing Experiments
This was hands down my favorite experiment! I would love to do it again! The experiment includes us using torches and drawing images with the camera having an extremely slow shutter speed of 20 to 35 seconds. You can draw words, symbols, anything and the results are astonishing!

Water Light Experiments
Now with this experiment, the whole point was to capture the refraction between the water and straw, however, we discovered that using different coloured filter paper over the little torch obviously illuminates that color and as the colour fills the water, it creates the most amazing images. Placing the torch facing the bottom of the cup and placing filter paper to cover its lens, allows you to recreate this image. The images that we've captured almost looks like looking down on the planet earth from outer space, especially the purple one in the middle. We also used to blow bubbles through the straw that created little shiny crystal look alike as it mixed the light with water. We also experimented with the remaining water left on the table, which you can see to the left. The water droplets look almost thick like molten as the light shines o it. We also used filter paper, again, to allow the drops to look more matte. Which gave us an extraordinary outcome.

Contact Sheet
This is my contact sheet, it is the total of all the pictures and the final results! The ones I loved have a heart symbol to the top right-hand corner. The use of symbols help to sort out the photos you want and you don't want easier, instead of clicking through each photo one by one.
